Vacuum Pump Oil

Performance Standards for Vacuum Pump Oil:

SPEL has a complete range of unique compressor oils, adapted to portable compressors, rotary air compressor/ screw compressor oils that meet a range of specification standards like DIN 51352 Part II, DIN 51506 VD-L and ISO DIS 6521 specifications, SPERRY VICKERS I-286-S, AFNOR NFE 48603(HM), DIN 51524 Part II (HLP) and CINCINNATI MILACRON P-68, P-69, P-70 specifications, DIN 51524 Part II (HLP), DIN 51506 VDL specifications, IS 13256:1992 DAB.

Category:

Vacuum Pump equipment manufacturers having tie-ups with Vacuum pump oil manufacturers ‘recommend’ a specific Vacuum pump oil only. This ‘recommended’ oil is invariably very costly and cuts into the already thin margins of Vacuum users. SPEL provides intelligent solutions that are alternative to over-priced “recommended” oils.

SPEL Vacuum Pump Oil have the following characteristics:

1. Low Vapor Pressure – Lower vapour pressure of vacuum pump oil will simplify the trapping process, reduce contamination. Hence a vacuum pump oil is of no use if its vapor pressure is high. The best vacuum pump oil will have a vapor pressure less than 0.1 Pa (l0-3 Torr) at its operating pressure.

2. Low Gas Solubility – Vacuum pump oils with low gas solubility will absorb lesser gas and hence has a longer life as it is not required to be changed. SPEL Synthetic Vacuum Pump Oils are more resistant to gas solubility.

3. Higher Flash & Higher Fire Point – Higher flash point and fire point ensures smooth working t higher temperatures without degradation of the vacuum pump oil.

Synthetic Rotary Air Compressor Oil SPEL COM SYNTH 32, 46, 68, 100

Synthetic Compressor oils primarily intended for the lubrication of severe duty Rotary Screw Compressors, Vane Air Compressors, and Turbochargers. They are formulated with Synthetic hydrocarbon fluids and a high technology additive system that assures exceptional resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation and excellent wear protection, far superior to Mineral oil-based Air Compressor oils.

APPLICATION: They are particularly suited for marine and industrial applications subjected to high final compression temperatures or where extended oil drain intervals are desired. These oils are recommended for all Rotary Screw and Vane Air Compressors. They are particularly effective in Screw-type Compressors with oil injection cooling (a design which places especially high demands on the Compressor lubricant) and for continuous high temperature operation with discharge temperatures up to 200 ⁰C.

COMPRESSOR OIL SPEL COM C 100, C 220

Compressor Oil formulated with selected base stocks and a special compounding agent to give excellent resistance to washing effect of water. These are further fortified with Anti-Rust and Anti-Corrosion agent and have good fluidity at low temperature.

APPLICATION: These grades meet DIN-51506 specifications. Recommended for cylinder lubrication of single and multistage air compressors with moist air & piston rings, valves, and cylinder liners etc.

SPEL COM 32, 46, 68

Compressor oils developed to provide satisfactory lubrication under prolonged high temperature and load conditions. They are exceptionally stable and are fortified with Anti-Oxidant and Anti-Rust additives.

APPLICATION: These oils are excellent cylinder lubricants for high performance reciprocating and rotary air compressors & can be used up to 200 ⁰C air discharge temperature. These oils meet DIN-51506 VD-L and ISO DIS-6521 specifications.
